Mitchelstown CBS teacher and Kildorrery man Willie Duggan has been presented with the March GAA Sports Star of the Month award from 96FM and C103.
The accolade was awarded last week to the sports advocate, who has been promoting GAA in the school since he was hired back in 1982.
The radio station awarded the local man for his ‘countless hours’ of dedication, both academically and sporting-wise, to CBS.
This is not hard to believe as his name frequently crops up throughout discussions about sport in the town.
