The Ballindangan Players drew the final curtain last Friday night on a phenomenal seven night run of ‘Calendar Girls’. Under the direction of John O’Doherty and Pat Landers, this very special play drew on many emotions and attracted record crowds to the local Community Hall.
The cast and crew would like to thank each and every person that helped out in any way possible to make this play a success. Opening night was in support of The Breeda McGrath Memorial Fund and YANA (Cork Domestic Violence Project) and was very well supported.
Thoughts have already turned to next year’s play, though trying to top ‘Calendar Girls’ will be no mean feat.
