Cowboys and cowgirls from Kildorrery and beyond assembled for last Saturday night’s barn dance.
The wild west theme was enthusiastically embraced by a large and good humoured crowd who were fed, watered and entertained during the course of the evening/night.
Since being acquired by the community The Old Creamery Yard has accommodated a diverse range of activities and fashioning it into a suitable barn dance venue wasn’t too problematic.
There was the matter of selecting a Kildorrery sheriff, this was no straight forward process with candidates set a variety of challenging tasks. There were wild celebrations when Martin Hartnett was elected ‘Sheriff of Kildorrery’.
