Last Friday was a red-letter day in the history of Watergrasshill as their impressive new school extension was officially opened.
The ribbon was cut by Sean McCarthy, son of Dan McCarthy who was school principal from 1924 to 1966 and Eamonn Ryan, who was principal between 1966 and 1999.
