Vigilance urged in light of three burglaries and a break in

Gardai are urging people to be vigilant about suspicious or unknown vehicles in their area, in light of three burglaries and a break-in over the past week.

Gardai are urging people to be vigilant about suspicious or unknown vehicles in their area, in light of three burglaries and a break-in over the past week.

On April 12, between midnight and 6am, there were two burglaries in Coolagown and a car was broken into in relation to one burglary.

Yesterday (Wednesday), there was a burglary in Coolmohan, Kilworth between the hours of midnight and 6am and a quantity of tools were taken.

In another incident on April 14, between 11am and noon while a householder was at Mass, a house in Kilshannig Lower, Rathcormac was broken into, but nothing was taken.

Gardai are advising people to watch out for suspicious or unknown vehicles and to report anything untoward to the Gardai in Fermoy on 025-82100. As there have been reports of travelling criminals, people should report anything unusual to the Gardai. They are also appealing for information in relation to any of the above incidents.
