After a three-year hiatus due to Covid, the Willie Clancy Summer School in Miltown Malbay returned this year with a new level of enthusiasm and appreciation.
Musicians, singers, dancers and enthusiasts were once again able to play music, sing, dance or just enjoy the amazing international talent which is evident at this unique event.
This year is the fiftieth year of the Willie Clancy Summer School and for that reason, it has attracted unprecedented attention.
HONOURING BOBBY
This year the highlight of the festival was a tribute concert to the master accordion player, tutor, TG4 Gradam Award winner and author, Clare native and Burncourt resident Bobby Gardiner.
