The Trad for Trocaire session held in Watergrasshill theatre recently was a resounding success, raising over €350 for the charity.

Spokesperson Barry Curtin said a great night was had by all and he extended thanks to all those who attended and the superb performers who put on such a magnificent show. He also thanked ABP for their support.

"We are seeing the Watergrasshill theatre going from strength to strength over recent years and events like these are a great showcase for the venue," he said.

A former church, the theatre has been transformed into a modern theatre and community venue with the aid of the Avondhu Blackwater Partnership under the Leader programme.
