
Cork County Council received a lot of well warranted praise for their ‘Hallowe’en Spooktacular’ – a free event that took place in Fermoy Town Park last Friday afternoon.
The poor weather from the previous day and early morning passed through and the weather thankfully held up. The park, which is maintained by Cork County Council, looked both spectacular and spooktacular. Council staff put in a massive effort decorating the area for what was a family focused event.
There was a great turnout, with a steady stream of visitors from 1pm to 4pm. It was a perfect pre trick or treat event and children arrived in a variety of Hallowe’en garb.
