Reidy's SuperValu in Mitchelstown have been awarded the SuperValu Supreme Quality Award for the fourth year in a row. The award encompasses the Q Mark and Hygiene and Food Safety Level 3 Emerald and shows that the store has achieved the highest standards in hygiene and food safety.

Manager, Jason O'Connor commended the staff, saying that getting this award for the fourth time is a testament to how hard the staff work to achieve the highest standards.

Food hygiene officer, Tara McGrath said that an awful lot of work goes into making sure that the standards are kept extremely high. While Jason added that it's important for the customers to know that the store has won awards for hygiene and food safety, as it increases their confidence in what their local SuperValu store can offer them.
