To be or not to be: M’town lady wins on new RTE quiz show

Mitchelstown brainiac Angela Crowley returned home from the first episode of ‘The Money List’ €2,500 richer, and while she says it was ‘one of the best experiences’, it is William Shakespeare who is to blame as she and her teammate bowed gracefully out of the first episode last weekend.

Presented by Baz Ashmawy, RTÉ’s ‘The Money List’ aired last Sunday, and the very first team introduced were Marshalstown’s Angela Crowley along with her teammate Stevie, an SNA from Clontarf in Dublin. Having never met before, the twosome were pitched against Noel and Eric.

With a successful first round where they named their target number of Eurovision-winning countries, they ultimately fell down when they went head-to-head in an attempt to name the title characters of Shakespeare’s plays.
