One of Tipperary’s finest four-star hotels the Talbot Hotel Clonmel are delighted to reveal some of their wonderful renovations that have been happening behind the scenes over the last 6 months, with the recent grand reveal of their new look ‘Wheat Bar & Bistro’, coupled with 33 newly redesigned executive guest bedrooms.
On acquisition by the Talbot Collection in early 2022 a commitment was made by the Talbot Collection that they would invest over €1 million in the Talbot Hotel Clonmel as part of their first-year renovations plans. This would be the initial step of a larger redevelopment plan for this market leader, that would see major revitalisation of this 4-star property.
The Talbot Hotel Clonmel has worked closely with Transcendence Interiors headed up by project manager Richard Duggan of Duggan Shop Fitters along with local trades people to create and design not only the renovated ballroom, but also their deluxe executive guestrooms and the very stylish new look ‘Wheat Bar & Bistro’.
The Talbot Hotel Clonmel invites you to discover the exciting transformation of the 33 executive guest bedrooms. The hotel has built its reputation as a 4-star contemporary hotel which offers a unique mix of luxury and style, but their real jewel in the crown is the new look ‘Wheat Bar & Bistro’.
When we spoke with Transcendence Interiors, they mentioned that the redesign of the ‘Wheat Bar & Bistro’ was one project they were very passionate about and that it was very evident with the end product! The bespoke carpet which was custom made came from Turkey, the wall mural panels, and the tiger wall patterns have a very strong French influence. The beautifully designed arched booths, along with the trending blues, brass & crystals really have the ‘Wheat Bar & Bistro’ on trend!
With splendour and elegance woven into the very smallest of details, you can very clearly see this with the brick entrance, double sided fireplace, & the back lit panelling in the new open plan snug area.
The open full height shelving, with ornate vases, and exclusively designed chandeliers are a breath-taking feature as soon as you enter through the doors of the ‘Wheat Bar & Bistro’.
The team at the Talbot Hotel Clonmel were recently delighted to welcome some of the hotels close friends to celebrate along with their team to toast to the ‘Wheat Bar & Bistro’s’ new look. The team were delighted to officially re-launch this beautiful design in style!
