In a letter to Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien, local campaigner for the WWT plant, Denis McGrath, states that according to his calculations, the 2,075,000 litres of wastewater that were imported to the plant from Kilworth in September indicates that the plant can accommodate more houses on the network.

Mr McGrath stated that the figure of 2,075,000 litres would indicate that the system has the capacity to handle the waste from at least 480 more houses.
