The late Ned Duggan, Ballyhooly, cutting the cake at his surprise 70th birthday party in Fermoy, back in 2014 – R.I.P.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of our esteemed colleague, contributor and photographer, Ned Duggan this Friday, February 27th. A native of Ballyhooly, Ned is known far and wide, through his love of music, community and sheep shearing, as well as being a talented photographer at events, near and far, for The Avondhu.

Our thoughts are with his loving family at this sad time, to whom we extend our sincere sympathy – may he rest in peace.
