Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons became internationally successful in the mid-1960s and were deemed to have been 'the most popular rock band before the Beatles'. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and joined the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. They are one of the best-selling musical groups of all time, having sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide.

The Frankie Valli Story - a one-man 'Jersey Boys' style show, comes to Kilworth's Village Arts Centre on Thursday, Nov 21. Brilliantly sewn together chronologically by an American narrator and aided very cleverly by video projection which forms a back drop to the whole show, the show spans three decades of music.

It tells the story of the struggle Frankie Valli faced before his sudden rise to fame in 1962 with The Four Seasons, the domination of the 60's charts with three consecutive No1 singles, the fling with the Northern soul and Motown scene, right through to the 70's worldwide million selling album "Who Loves You".

This fantastic show features all of the hits of Frankie Valli both as a solo artist and as part of The Four Seasons, including: 'Big Girls Don’t Cry', 'Walk Like A Man', 'Dawn', 'Ragdoll', 'Working My Way Back To You', 'The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore', 'Bye Bye Baby', 'Silence Is Golden', 'Can’t Take My Eyes Off You', 'My Eyes Adored You', 'December 63 (Oh What A Night)' plus many, many more. Certainly a night not to be missed.
