The daughter of one of three brothers who died in a double murder-suicide at Corrogorm near Mitchelstown in February, has spoken out for the first time about the deaths of her father and uncles.  

Elaine Hennessy, daughter of Paddy Hennessy, older brother to Willie and Johnny Hennessy, paid tribute to her father and uncles in an emotional interview with Patricia Messenger on C103.

“They were just the best men that ever walked the planet,” Ms Hennessy said. “So gentle, just really good men. Easy-going, happy with the simple things in life. There’ll never be another man like my dad again.”

Ms Hennessy, who was mother to an eight-week-old baby when the tragedy took place, said she was the one who discovered the bodies of her father and one of her uncles …
