The Art Crimes Band is an Irish-based music collective specialising in World Fusion music. The Art Crimes Band formed in 2010 under the name The Purple Cabaret Band and soon made a name for themselves in pubs and clubs around the country. Although the line up has changes somewhat, their original and unique sound make them one of the most popular bands in Munster.
The Art Crimes Band draws from the diverse and varied musical backgrounds of its members to create unique and fresh sound. Their sound stems for the bands interest in traditional, folk, jazz, soul and blues which blend beautifully and when performed by top class musicians, leads to a wonderful experience.
The band is like a melting pot of different styles. Having played all over the world to rave reviews, we are delighted to have them in Ballyporeen. The group is fronted by talented Ballyporeen artiste, Grace McMahon and this spectacular show is sure to be popular, so early booking is advised.
