Tech Fest 2020 to go virtual

One of Europe’s most exciting technology symposiums, running for over 10 years, is back. Tech Summit 2020, has reinvented itself as it@cork Tech Fest and has redeveloped its entire plan, now taking its event online.

The revamped it@cork Annual Tech Fest Conference will be held virtually as a week-long technology festival.

A virtual feast for anyone with a passion for technology, it will include a stellar line up of speakers, including, Bobby Healy, CEO and founder of Manna Drone Delivery; Tom Raftery, Global VP and Futurist at SAP; Dr. Colin Clarke, Principal Investigator at NIBRT and Vanessa Tierney, co-founder of Abodoo.

Tech Summit 2020 will focus on and explore 5 key topics, namely Cyber Security: Designing for a New Era of Threats and Complexity; Smart Cities: Are Smart Cities a smart idea?; Future of Work; Digitalisation of Bio Pharma Manufacturing; and Future of Education.

it@cork is a leading not-for-profit independent business organisation, representing the interests of the IT industry in Ireland.

The event, originally due to take place in May, will take place virtually from 14th – 18th September, supported by its learning network it@cork Skillnet.

Free for members, tickets are also for sale to the general public.
