T.O. Park, located in the rolling hills of Labbamologga, has seen a delay in their broadband hub installation but the owner is confident the project will be completed in the coming months. 

The local community facility was the brainchild of force of nature Tom O’Flynn, affectionately known as ‘T O’ – The Avondhu called to the centre this week to hear about the massive plans for the valued local facility. 

Closed at present due to Covid-19, the news of an impending broadband initiative that could see T.O. Park become a ‘hub’ for remote working, is positive news for this rural community.

“The situation is that it was rolled out at national level last November and it was for areas like us, which has poor or no broadband signal here. That is the case here, we barely have phone coverage,” T.O. explained.
