On Friday last September 18, an alert went out on social media warning people of an attempted dog theft and suspicious activity in the Glanworth area.
A local woman posted to her online account, stating that at 2.30am, she witnessed perpetrators – who she took to be dog thieves – jumping her back wall, but who fled once they saw the door being opened.
The woman also warned that there were drones flying around their house and garden recently, which she suspects were being used as a means of ‘sussing the place out’.
In recent weeks, there were also reports of drones in the Glanworth area being flown over private properties.
