The sun was shining over Ireland as almost 58,000 students returned to their schools to collect their Leaving Certificate results this week.

Across The Avondhu catchment area, nervous and anxious students began arriving at their alma mater’s early on Wednesday morning.

There were scenes of joy and jubilation as the students took possession of their results sheets, scanned them and absorbed their respective outcomes ...
