Killavullen National School marked an outstanding year of sporting achievement with a medal presentation in the school on Monday, June 23.
On the day Cork hurling star Alan Cadogan was on hand to present the various medals and trophies to the pupils who put the school on the map in a variety of sports this year. The 22-year-old from Douglas also spoke of the importance of being active every day.
“Whether it be hurling, football, soccer, rugby, swimming or any sport it’s very important to get outside each day and do some physical activity . . ."
