The 2023 Anglesboro Tractor Run took place on December 27th. Thanks to the efforts of the local vintage club, the participation of drivers and the public’s support, this event, once again, proved to be a resounding success.

The run’s financial success meant substantial funds could be presented with the organisations to benefit being the Irish Kidney Association and Special Friends, Mitchelstown. Both organisations received €3,000 each.

These groups were well represented as last Saturday night’s presentation ceremony in Anglesboro Hall. Speaking on behalf of the Irish Kidney Association, Michael Kiely from Kilglass, Mitchelstown, said the money would go towards funding for two houses, which were being made available to patients and their families. He thanked the organisers for their generosity, adding that it was great that so many people recognised the work being done by the Irish Kidney Association.
