Aaron Walsh from Kildorrery had his studious efforts recognised recently, when he came third in Ireland, out of 12,000 students who took Technical Graphics in the Junior Certificate.
He was presented with the National Student Award by Minister Ciaran Cannon in GMIT in Galway, and his family said that it was a great honour to see Aaron getting such a prestigious award from a minister. Aaron sat his Junior Certificate last year in CBS Secondary School, Mitchelstown.
