Plans for the development of Rathcormac village were officially unveiled at a launch in UCC Boole Library on Monday last.

Work has been underway for the past 2 years and the project is now at a stage that Rathcormac Community Council can finally present their findings to the local community.

The community council have worked closely with the Planning and Research Unit of University College Cork and have also engaged with local business interests, local community groups, residents and sporting organisations to ensure they have considered the needs of all the stakeholders during the research process.

The group have been fortunate enough to have had the services of UCC Planning and Research Masters Students and their supervisors over the past two years to assist with the development of this strategic plan that considers the needs of the village and its hinterland.
