Canadian writer, Brendan Walsh, whose father, James Walsh, was born and raised at the foot of the Galtee Mountains near Kilbehenny, announces the launch of his coming-of-age novel, ‘The Boy and the Crow’.

Canadian writer, Brendan Walsh, whose father, James Walsh, was born and raised at the foot of the Galtee Mountains near Kilbehenny, is pleased to announce the launch of his coming-of-age novel, ‘The Boy and the Crow’.

Brendan is a Canadian freelance writer and communicator. He lectures at McGill University and Concordia University in Montreal.

‘The Boy and the Crow’ is the fast-paced story of 16-year-old city gang member, Daniel Cagney. Convicted of a crime he did not commit in juvenile court, he is sentenced to a year’s probation on the farm of his grandparents, whom he has not seen for many years. From the moment he arrives in rural Vermont, USA, Danny struggles to adjust to his new life on foreign turf.
