There will be a gift to suit everyone’s tastes at the upcoming craft market in Fermoy which is due to take place on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1 from 11am-6pm each day.
There will be over 30 different sellers with their cakes and crafts present on the day including The Coffee House Fermoy, McMurphy’s Delights, Healthy Made Delicious, homemade Christmas cakes and chutneys, handcrafted jewellery, bags, accessories, handmade Christmas decorations, wood turning crafts, glass art, visual art, restored furniture, knitted garments, ceramics, pottery, candles, fairy doors and much more.
The great Santa Claus himself will also pay a visit to the market each day where he will meet the boys and girls at the market from 1-5 Saturday and from 11-3 on Sunday.
Emma Carolan has been involved in the organising of the event alongside Fermoy Community Youth Centre and she is certain that there visitors won’t go away empty handed when they see the beautiful, unique gifts available to purchase from local sellers.
“Everything at the market is unique and original and it’s so important for people to come and support local traders. So come and enjoy the atmosphere and be a part of the whole experience,” said Emma.
Many of the crafts people who will be selling their wares on the day are members of the Fermoy Craft Co-Operative which is led by local woman Debbie Úi Cinnéide.
It is free to enter the fair on the day and you can visit Santa for just €4 at your discretion.
