Tipperary-native Noel McCarthy is undertaking the incredible challenge of running six consecutive marathons in six days next week, all in aid of BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service.

The Clonmel resident will be running one marathon in each of the six counties of Munster, and takes on the Cork leg of his mammoth undertaking on Friday, August 21.

Noel will run from Kilbehenny to Fermoy, and back, sporting a Cork jersey as he does so. He will begin from Kilbehenny at 10am, and said he expects the marathon to take him around five hours to complete.

BUMBLEance, the children’s ambulance service, provides stress reducing journeys for children in state-of-the-art, safe and fun vehicles. If you would like to donate to Noel’s cause, you can do so via his iDonate page; www.idonate.ie/Munster6in6.
