Mitchelstown Credit Union hosted a coffee morning with a difference when they welcomed Redmond Kennedy and his Classic Crepes van to their premises last Wednesday.

Redmond parked up outside the credit union building on Lower Cork Street and it didn't take him long to attract a steady stream of customers who were treated to complimentary coffee and crepes.

The initiative was a promotion for Mitchelstown Credit Union's range of services as well as a chance for people to enjoy some excellent coffee. The fine weather was another plus.

Assistant manager, Colin Irwin, said the event was very well received by customers who were also entered into a free a draw. Mitchelstown Credit Union staff who assisted with the promotion included: Joy White and Sinead Meade.
