The site notice for the proposed new, 24 classroom Gaelscoil de hÍde primary school along the Dun Eala Road in Fermoy has been erected.
The five acre Greenfield site is located across from the Dun Eala estate in the Duntaheen area of the town. According to the planning notice, the development will consist of a three-storey school with 24 classrooms, a general purpose hall, support teaching spaces and ancillary accommodation. The total floor area of the school is 4,220 square metres.
The site works in the school grounds will consist of the provision of cycle storage, bin stores, ball courts, project gardens, external storage buildings, landscaping and boundary treatment and other associated site development works.
