The North Cork Enterprise Board in Partnership with Cork County Council will hold a seminar on ‘Public Procurement’ in Mallow GAA Complex on Wednesday, 10th July.

The seminar will explain to potential contractors and business people how to tap into the massive national and local e-tendering process. However there will be a special focus on those who may have been slow to tender, up to now, because they were unfamiliar with the ‘how to’.

This seminar will help educate people how to go about tendering better and they will understand what the Cork county Council are looking for.

MacDara O Hici, head of procurement at Cork County Council, will be speaking on the night and wants people who can do the job, for the best price rather than those who are good at tendering.

All public, semi-state and local authority procurements are now done through the e-tendering process, including Cork County Council and that is what the Seminar in Mallow will explain

Along with MacDara, also speaking will be Ger Power Head of Finance Cork County Council and Michael Hanley Manager North Cork Enterprise Board.
