Star of popular TV series Love/Hate, Laurence Kinlan, is coming to renowned Cork SEAT dealer Blackwater Motors, Fermoy on February 22, to host a SEAT acting workshop and impart some of his wisdom on Cork’s aspiring actors.

The SEAT Ireland brand ambassador will play host to over fifty actors from Cork at Blackwater Motors SEAT dealership on the Dublin Road in Fermoy. This workshop suitable for all ages over 16 and completely free of charge is one of many the Love/Hate star will host at SEAT dealerships around Ireland as part of his role as a SEAT brand ambassador.

This series of SEAT acting workshops will provide participants with the opportunity to perform in a safe environment while receiving honest and relevant advice. Participants will rehearse with several scene partners as well as experiencing and understanding the actor-director relationship.

Speaking ahead of the event, Laurence Kinlan said; “I was thrilled when asked by SEAT to come on board as a brand ambassador and even more thrilled when I was asked to host these acting workshops. Having been part of the acting scene in Ireland for over a decade, I’m fully aware of the talent that is out there and I’m hoping to see some of that talent and teach people a few tricks of my own”.

David Quirke, dealer principal at Cork SEAT dealer Blackwater Motors said, “When we found out about the possibility of hosting this acting workshop with Laurence, it was something we were very keen on doing. The interest in this event has been unbelievable and I’m delighted to be in a position to put on this workshop for the talented actors of Cork. I hope they learn something from it but overall just enjoy the day”.

It has been a busy 2013 for Laurence Kinlan with 2014 set to be just as busy with SEAT acting workshops taking place at dealerships throughout January and February. Having finished filming the fourth series of Love/Hate in Autumn, Laurence was announced as a SEAT brand ambassador receiving the keys to his all new SEAT Leon FR last October.
