Rural crime ‘not a major problem in Anglesboro area’

Approximately 80 people from right across the region, attended the crime prevention meeting in Anglesboro on Thursday night last.

Approximately 80 people from right across the region, attended the crime prevention meeting in Anglesboro on Thursday night last.

While it was pointed out that parts of Co Tipperary have a particular problem at present, it was conceded that such was not the case in Anglesboro and immediate surrounds.

“We want to keep it that way and move towards wiping it out altogether. That was one of the purposes of this meeting. We want to nip it in the bud and adopt a ‘stitch in time’ approach,” local activist Dan Gallahue, said.
