Across the country, young people aged between 13 and 19 could be doing anything and RTE want them to share that day with the nation through the ‘Life’s Like This’ documentary.

RTE are asking people to whip out the smartphones, webcams and let the country meet them and experience their day with them. People are asked to film themselves, with an introduction about themselves, showing what they are doing and what’s on their mind. It should be about two minutes long.

The idea is that all of the clips will be combined to produce a unique documentary, showing young people doing everything from getting ready to go out, playing sports, learning music or heading out on Friday, September 20.

All of the clips can be uploaded to the RTE Young People’s website by following a step by step guide and going to www.rte.ie/trte/lifeslikethis.

The deadline for submissions is midnight on Monday, September 23 and all filming must be done on Friday, September 20 for the documentary to be screened on RTE Two in November.
