Riordan's SuperValu, Fermoy have a track record of supporting voluntary groups and sports clubs. In a very well supported recent promotion, local juvenile GAA clubs had an opportunity to win training equipment  that included footballs, sliotars, hurleys, bibs, cones etc. The successful clubs were Ballyduff Upper, St Catherine's, Ballyhooly and Glanworth.

Officials and players from all four clubs were present last Saturday morning to collect their prizes. Recipients thanked Riordan's SuperValu for their generosity adding that the equipment would be of major benefit in the promotion of Gaelic Games. Riordan's SuperValu, Fermoy were represented by proprietor Michael Riordan and manager Colm Donnellan. According to Michael, the most recent promotion was another example of his store's commitment to local sports clubs.
