‘Receptive’ Tánaiste hears first-hand of town’s infrastructure deficit

Infrastructure concerns in Fermoy from members of the business community were a key issue raised with Tánaiste Micheál Martin during his visit to the town late last week.

A letter addressed to the Tánaiste on behalf of the Fermoy Town businesses and residents, highlighted several ‘critical issues’ with the town’s infrastructure that the letter stated ‘urgently require attention and action’.

Hand delivered on Thursday by local businessmen Noel Barnes and James Ronayne, roads and traffic were the key issues raised as the impact on local businesses and quality of life for residents were outlined.
