Carraig na bhFear Community Council helped co-ordinate a massive fundraising project last Sunday to help baby Jade.
From the outside, it looked like every man, woman and child in Carraig na bhFear had been drafted in to assist. From our understanding, locals and ‘outsiders’ alike didn’t need much persuading to lend a hand.
While we don’t have precise details at hand, we understand that little Jade is very ill in Dublin and the medics are doing all they can to make her better. Baby Jade is Margaret O’Brien’s granddaughter and Margaret has been a prime mover in getting the fundraising side of things going. Margaret has a lot of friends, none closer or better than Rhonda Murray. Given the scale of last Sunday’s operation, Ms Murray was understandably ‘up the walls’ and very much ‘in the middle of it’.
