Blackwater Motors’ Group parts manager, Tom Browne, has been awarded the Volkswagen Gold Pin at the recent Gold Pin Awards ceremony held in Kilkea Castle.
The award, which celebrates the service provided to the Volkswagen brand, is the highest national accolade given to individuals and is recognised for meeting the highest level of quality standards and delivering outstanding service.
Tom has been in the motor industry for 44 years, the past 18 of which have been with Blackwater Motors. He became group parts manager this year, having been parts manager for the Fermoy branch for several years.
Tom oversees the Parts Departments in all Blackwater Motors branches as well as their sister company Audi Cork.
Speaking about the Gold Pin award, Tom said, “I am absolutely honoured to have received this award from Volkswagen and I am very grateful to both Volkswagen and Blackwater Motors.”
