Last Thursday, Presentation Secondary School Transition Years took to the stage for the Young Social Innovators Speak-out competition held in the Lime Tree Theatre in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick.

Each group put together a sketch to portray a social issue of concern they chose to work on; why they chose this issue and what actions they took to address the issue within the school community.

The two social issues addressed were ‘unhealthy lifestyles’ and ‘consent’.

Well done to both groups and congratulations to the TYB class who got an award for the most effective communication of their chosen issue, 'consent'.
