With only weeks to go to the first ever event of its kind in Fermoy, the committee of Fermoy GAA are putting on their stetson hats and cowboy boots as they add the final tweaks to their high quality fundraising concert on Sunday, August 25, ‘Fermoy Goes Country’.

Country fans will be weak at the knees when they hear the line-up of some of the best in the business including headliner Jimmy Buckley, country legends Brendan Shine and Paddy O’Brien, Queen of Country Louise Morrissey as well as popular names like Gary Gamble and Gerry Guthrie who will all be supported by The Conquerors band.

If you want your oul’ lobby washed down or if you have Tipperary on your mind, you’re going to want to get your hands on the golden tickets to what will be one of the biggest country music events in Munster this year.

There will be plenty of dancing, laughing, drinking and eating to be done on the day and it is sure to be an event to remember.

With these top class acts on your doorstep, there’s only one thing left to do and that’s grab your friends, grab your tickets and grab your ten gallon hat.
