Mid-June is the provisional date confirmed for works at Fermoy Community Hospital to begin, The Avondhu has learned.
A spokesperson for the HSE told The Avondhu that a contractor has been appointed for the works. “Provisionally, we expect preparatory works to begin in mid-June,” the spokesperson said.
This news comes as eagerly awaited confirmation that works would soon begin as an internal notice was circulated in April informing staff of a ‘plan to commence’ on June 1, 2021.
