The Ballyhooly Colour Run took place in the village last Saturday morning. Organisers had no weather concerns and there was a large turnout of participants – with quite a few travelling from different parts of Ireland to take part.
The colour run concept has been around a long time and while the idea of being showered in coloured powder doesn't do much for an elite athlete, young runners in particular can't get enough of it.
