Over four years since it was announced that Gaelscoil de hÍde would be getting a new school in Fermoy, Cork County Council has granted planning permission for the building to be constructed.
The greenfield site, located at Dun Eala in the town, will see the construction of a three storey, 24 classroom primary school building with a total floor space of 4,220 square metres.
