A woman from Ballyporeen who thought a taxi driver in Dublin had deliberately driven off with her cabin case before Christmas was reunited with it after contacting RTE’s Liveline programme last Wednesday.

Anne O’Casey – who runs O’Casey’s pub in the village – called the popular radio show to say that she had lost her cabin case containing jewellery, clothes and a cake after she got a taxi at Heuston Station after getting off the train from Thurles.
