A road protest organised by Cllr Frank Roche is set to take place this Thursday on the N73, to demonstrate the need for urgent road improvements on the route from Clogher Cross to Waterdyke, near Shanballymore.

The protest of hauliers and lorry drivers will begin in Kildorrery at 9am, and make its way towards Waterdyke, a section of the road that has been at the centre of calls for upgrades for a number of years.

Further to Thursday’s planned protest, Cllr Roche is organising a free bus from Kildorrery to the Dáil next Tuesday, 5th October and is calling on all people to join him in his efforts to call ministers out on their perceived lack of action.
