Mitchelstown Leisure Centre is set to transform their general purpose hall into one of the region’s most impressive theatre facilities.
The group has asked for tenders to make the hall into a ready made theatre for plays, musicals and other events with work set to be carried out on specialist curtains and other equipment.
The plan could cost in the region of €150,000 and it is expected that if the tendering process is successful that it will be funded by LEADER grant aid.
