Staff at Fermoy Community Pre-School Group organised a very successful 'Pyjama Day' recently to raise funds for TJ Cunningham - a Dublin toddler with strong links to the Fermoy area.

2-year-old TJ was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy and had to undergo a number of serious brain operations in the United States. TJ's great grandmother is Mary Kenneally from Castlehyde and she was delighted with the pre-school's efforts. Our two pictures show the children along with their interesting and varied night wear. Everyone really enjoyed dressing up and in one of his last formal engagements, outgoing Fermoy mayor, Michael Hanley dropped in to lend his support.

Management and staff at Fermoy Community Pre-School Group wish TJ and his parents, Tony and Leah every good wish for the future.
