St Patrick's Community Hospital Fundraising Association are extremely pro-active when it comes to generating income for the their cause and following on from a very successful music marathon in Cheers Bar Fermoy, the association's focus now shifts to The Avondhu Bar which hosts a bingo night on Friday, July 26 at 8.00pm.
Speaking at last week's launch, association PRO, Cllr Tadhg O'Donovan said he was thrilled that Richie Flynn and The Avondhu Bar had come on board.
"We're thrilled to be associated with Richie and The Avondhu Bar and everyone is already looking forward to the 26th July. We hope to have upwards of €500 in prizes to give out and it should be a great night" he said.
Local D J, Timmy 'Raz' Flynn has been signed up to call the numbers and players will have a choice of either single books for €5 or double books for €8. The event also includes a raffle for some attractive prizes.
