A great preview of the new season styles was afforded the large attendance at the recent fashion show at Corrin Event Centre in Fermoy, organised by the Musical Society as a fundraiser.

Fermoy's leading fashion stores Hickey's Ladies and Gents Fashion, Carma Boutique, Stylelounge Shoes, Shaws Childrenswear and Cummins Sports all showed their ranges for Autumn/Winter at the event.

Greatly adding to the enjoyment of the evening, was the lively banter of the irrepressible Trevor Ryan, whose MC abilities went down a treat. A musical interlude from Fermoy Choral Society was greatly enjoyed.

"It went very well, there was a great atmosphere and people enjoyed themselves," Claire O'Connor, PRO of Fermoy Musical Society, said.

She thanked all of the stores who featured, all those who took trade stands at the event and all who supported their ticket sales and otherwise contributed to the success of the night.

A further fundraiser - a table quiz - is being held by the Society on Monday, November 4 at The Grand Hotel in Fermoy. All are welcome and all support will be greatly appreciated.
