Starting this weekend, the Fermoy panto production of ‘Dick Whittington and his Cat’ is hitting the boards, running from January 9th-11th and 16th-18th at the Palace Theatre, Fermoy.
This is a completely new show that will feature the best of local talent in a massive production. The main ingredient the director points out for a successful panto, is a talented cast and chorus line, good songs and choreography, a funny script with some risqué punch lines whilst keeping it at a family fun level, loads of audience participation and a warm comfortable theatre. So, this production has all of the above in abundance.
At least 95% of the entire crew are all based within a 10-mile radius of Fermoy and this is the main reason why this show exists in the first place. So, cast off your winter blues and join in the fun and laughter.
Some tickets are available at the Palace Theatre box office for collection or can be booked on GR8 events booking page – group offers are still available. At the time of writing, three of the eight shows are almost sold out, so do not be disappointed, book now. This is a genuine feel-good family show.
