In March of this year, Waterford’s country music star Paddy O’Brien took to the road with a brand-new show – ‘My Kind Of Country’, suited mainly to a theatre setting and it worked a treat when he staged it at The Village Arts Centre, Kilworth.
There have been many calls to bring him back and we are delighted to be able to host Paddy once again at the Kilworth venue, this time on Thursday, November 30, this time with star guest, Louise Morrissey (last time his guest was John Hogan).
What Paddy loves about the theatre setting is that it gives him the opportunity to present his favourite songs to a listening audience. This year, Paddy celebrates 30 years in Country Music.
Throughout his career, he has recorded 32 albums all of which are available on CD while 16 are also on DVD. He has numerous hits including ‘Marion’s Rose’, ‘Louisiana’, ‘Keep On The Sunnyside’, ‘Heaven Won’t Be Heaven’, ‘You Seldom Come To See Me Anymore’, ‘Never Grow Old’, ‘Out To California’, ‘Thibodeaux And His Cajun Band’ and many, many more.
For a great night’s entertainment make sure you join Paddy and Guest at the Kilworth venue on Thursday, November 30 and hear him sing many of his own hit songs plus other great classics from legends like Slim Whitman, Marty Robbins and more.
You are advised to book early so call 025-32227 or 087-6492514, tickets €20 also at the usual outlets.
